We Are The Monsters

Question: What's more of a joke than the LCS administration?
Answer: The LCS student body

The problems at LCS run deep through the administration and flow to the students. The blame needs to shift from the administration and onto the students. Gossip, factions, licentious women, drugs, alcohol, cheating and even sex messaging are all things that LCS kids are notorious for. I'm truly disgusted with what goes on in the hallways and parking lots of LCS. The way we treat each other is horrible. We are the most hypocritical, stuck up, debaucherous teens. I'm sick of the disrespect our class has. We definitely have a lack of self-respect. I've seen how terrible we are, and it has to stop. But I cannot do anything about it. I can only control my actions, but I can influence you (the LCS student body) to change your ways. People wonder why the administration tightened the reigns this year. It's because they can't trust us. And Why can't they trust us? I don't know, maybe it's the fact that you get high on the weekends or send naked pictures via cell phones!! The blame is on us, the students, for the new regime. I know the student body. I know not everyone fits into this category, but those who do- you know who you are. I'm calling for a change.

Galatians 5:19-21
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.

As I look around LCS, I see many of the acts of the sinful nature. We must live like this no more. We are called to live new lives in Christ.

Galatians 5:22-25
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

We have crucified our sinful nature. It's dead. We shouldn't live like we used to. We are born again through Christ; sin no longer has power over us, but we're living like it does. Together, we can unite the Class of 2010, because right now, it's broken. Badly broken. I'm doing my part to fix it, now it's your turn to do yours....
